Shipping Policy

We ship our products to any address in Canada and continental United States. Note: Shipment to a P.O. Box, however, will be refused.

DELIVERY CHARGES

At Luxfurny we make your life easy by offering FREE shipping on all orders

All shipping costs are inclusive of insurance.

Products are shipped from our warehouses located in Canada. Orders to the USA may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches its destination. Please check with your local authorities to find out what charges are applicable. Luxfurny does not charge or collect duties/taxes for goods shipped to international destinations (outside of Canada). These taxes are paid by the customer upon arrival of ordered items to their destination country.

CARRIERS

We believe your purchase deserves a special degree of handling and care. We use leading furniture delivery companies to handle our orders including TST Overland Express, Day & Ross, Maritime Ontario, FedEx Freight, each one selected depending on the final destination, weight and size of the products.

PROCESS OF DELIVERY

The carrier will call you to schedule a timeframe for the delivery, either in the morning or in the afternoon. Luxfurny is not responsible for the delivery times of products. Once products have been dispatched, it is the customer's responsibility to liaise with Luxfurny’s nominated carrier company in relation to date of delivery and to make themselves available to take delivery during the time slot appropriated.

If, for any reason, our shipping partner cannot reach you at the agreed time of delivery, you will need to re-arrange the delivery. We are not responsible for any additional delivery costs incurred.

Upon delivery, you will be asked to sign a delivery form, in which you confirm that the product was delivered in the correct condition (without obvious defects or damage).

 

TRACKING NUMBER

Our policy is to keep you informed.  When your order is dispatched, your tracking number is sent to you via email so you can keep a close eye on your delivery. You can track your order by using on inbuilt tracking system on our website. You will also receive a call from one of our professional furniture carriers to confirm a suitable time for delivery. 


BEYOND POINT

If your shipping address is a ‘beyond point’, then a shipping surcharge may apply. Beyond point surcharge is calculated by the shipping companies. Beyond points are usually defined by difficult access points, narrow roads, gated communities, islands, rural areas or mountains. There is no way for us to ascertain a ‘beyond point’ until we get shipping quotes from our shipper. We will contact you if your shipping address comes up as a ‘beyond point’.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS

If you wish to change any other delivery details before the indicated delivery date, you must send an email to adam@luxfurny.com to notify Luxfurny of this at least 48 hours prior to delivery. In this notification, you must mention the order number and the relevant product. Luxfurny will review the change by phone or email, and confirm the change following its in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

DELAY

Luxfurny nor the transporter can be held responsible if the delivery cannot take place as a result of the incorrect address or other delivery information provided by the customer.

Luxfurny is not responsible for delays due to strikes, legal lockouts, or other discomforts caused by its suppliers. In the case of these inconveniences and other events, the delivery period shall be extended in accordance with the duration of the disturbance.

To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.

DELIVERY ACCESS

We recommend that you check the dimensions of access points to your home before ordering large items of furniture. You are responsible for determining that merchandise will fit through doorways, staircases, corridors and lifts. Dimensions for our products are listed with the product description.

INSPECTION

It is your responsibility to inspect all items at the time of delivery, and any claims should be made within 24 hours.
